in "digital pictures" (dont know the english title of this app; i use it to import pictures from my iphone to my mbp) i get an error message -9934 - not possible to import pictures.
no problem to sync via itunes.
any ideas?

OK, I found the solution: I had to redefine the import-folder!

My story:
For one month since I upgrade to 10.9, Image import is working fine.
For some unrelated reason, I decided to do a permissions repair.
Subsequently, image capture failed with error -9934. Being so soon after permissions repair, I suspected that the folder that the images are imported into ( ~/Pictures) had been given incorrect permissions. I don't even remember what they were, but I'm sure my account had read/write access. I just gave universal access ( which is probably overkill) - and then image import immediately worked fine again.
