You have got 148.93 GB of free space in your hard drive, but OS X Mavericks requires 2 GB of more of RAM. Both things are different.

You can check the amount of RAM you have got in  > About this Mac.

OS X Mavericks needs 2 GB or more of RAM to work, so you probably need to upgrade RAM. First, make sure your Mac is supported > http://www.apple.com/osx/specs Then, you can buy more RAM at OWC or Crucial. I recommend you to install at least 4 GB of RAM if your Mac supports them
