itunes will not open

I dont think there is any help. I have tried everything on the community sites and nothing works.

Do you get an error message when you try to open iTunes? If so, what does it say? (Precise text, please.)

I selected the website and carefully followed all instructions with success and removed itunes and reinstalled as recommended with no issues in so doing. However, when I select the itunes icon the same dialoge box appears but does not open or allow access on computer or to sync with iphone. I have selected the compatibility box and also de-selected in the event that this might allow access but no go.

Try again. There was an updated installer released on the 8th so make sure you download a fresh copy of the setup file.

I did this last night and think it was the latest program however will try again. Thank you for continued advice

I wonder if you have an outdated iTunes icon on the desktop. Try using the one in Start Menu > All Programs > iTunes instead.
