How would I recover a project I did not backup before updating to the new version?

I updated to the new version without backing up my projects. How do I get them back?

Hi GizmoPhotos,

Welcome to the Support Communities!

If you chose to Save old projects and events, they are placed in a folder called “Old Final Cut Projects and Events.” If you chose to Trash old projects and events, they may still be in the Trash. In Finder, open the Trash, select the projects and events folder, and choose File > Put Back. For more information, please visit:

I hope this information helps ....
