I'd guess it was done in Autodesk Maya but it could have been any of the top 3D applications.
What's for sure is that it wasn't created in any software designed by Apple. Sadly. Maybe we will see 3D from Apple at some point but right now I'm not holding my breath.

I hoped for years for some "3D for the rest of us" …
but I think, there's too little demand for such a niché product
look-out for motionvfx forthcoming product mObject ... 😉
(= a Motion plug-in teaching it to handle .obj/3D-data etc )
but, animating liquids is indeed state-of-the-art ... even purchasing Cinema4D et al for thousands of dollars doesn't mean YOU (or me…) could create such an awesome CGI … 😁
as a start: teach yourself Blender, for free, liquids/smoke/physics too …
Maxon Cinema 4D and Adobe After Effects. Maybe it is shot with a Canon 5D?
