Can Outlook 2011 e-mail be exported to a Word or Pages document ?

MACHINE: 10.68, Intel Core Duo, 2.66 GHz, 8 GB RAM.

My neighbor's Outlook 2011 mail database is corrupted and her mail datafile (in Microsoft User Data) is a whopping 422 MB (Inbox >6,000 messages, Undeleted in Trash Can >3800 messages) . Unlikely that here database can be repaired or exported. First question: If it could be exported (such as .olm), can one export it to a document or other which will be readable and searchable ? This will be extremely useful as an archive of her old mail, not require the use of a mail app, and then she will start a new database in Entourage 2008, Mac Mail, or Outlook 2011.

Have seen olm readers for PCs, but not Macs. EXAMPLE: http://www.systoolsgroup.com/olm-viewer.html

As a second question, have any of you found OS 10.7x (compared to 10.68) to be faster and/or aid in correcting repair of databases such as her mail ?

Third question: Is there another robust export program for Outlook 2011 which might successfully export her mail to some readable file. The export feature within Outlook 2011 fails one third of the way.

More on this in a future post regarding mail program selections and Apple's Mail app.

Thank you.
