I tried to update my apple tv. It seemed to go through steps 1 and 2. Now it shows a picture of the appletv connected by a cable to the itunes icon. I don't have this cable. I can't seem to exit out of it. I have wifi. I don't understand why it's doing this.

The update was interupted and failed. The only way to fix it now it to plug it into a computer iTunes via a USB cable and use iTunes to reload it's software.
This is happening to me too, but what usb cable can be plugged in to the apple tv? the only cable i have is the ipad and iphone and it does not work on the apple tv. Help pls!!!
update requires connecting to itunes with a cable?
