Dec 22, 2013 10:44 AM in response to peazerby Bob Timmons,Trying to add Extreme
New "tower" shaped Extreme? Flat, 'square" Extreme? Round "dome" shaped Extreme?
Your profiles states that you are using OS X (10.7.3). Is that up to date? If not, what OS are you running?

Dec 22, 2013 10:51 AM in response to peazerby Bob Timmons,★HelpfulUnfortunately, AirPort Utility in OS X (10.9) does not support the older AirPort Extreme that you have.
In order to configure the older Extreme, you will need....or be able to borrow.....a Mac running Leopard (10.5.x), or Snow Leopard (10.6.x), or a PC with AirPort Utility installed on the device.

Dec 22, 2013 10:54 AM in response to Bob Timmonsby peazer,That's what I figured. Alway have to buy something new when upgrades happen as useful as they are. Just to be clear, I can get to older OS system; so I want to set it up in "bridge mode" with ethernet from TC plugged into Wan port correct? That will extend my network?
