Q: multi-user accounts iPad 3rd generation possible?

I have an iPad 3rd generation, and want to use my iTunes gift card to buy apps. I don't have a credit card. How can I do that?

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 7.0.4

Log into the iTunes store. You'll see an option to 'redeem'. Click on that and enter the codes.

Are you logging in on the iPad or a computer? the exact 'how' varies from device to device (the principal is the same, just what button is where changes)

I see no mention of app purchases. Don't want to miss opportunity to make app purchases if I redeem via iTunes screen. Will I see app purchase opportunity on my screen after I redeem via iTunes?

You redeem the gift card, for example let's say I have 3.99 in my iTunes account. I redeem a $15 gift card and I'll see my account have a balance of 18.99. Then you go into the app portion of iTunes, find what you want to buy, tap the buy button and follow the prompts.
