iTunes crashes when accessing store

Asus laptop running Windows 8.1, Intel Core i7 processor, 8 gigs of memory with a gigabit wired connection to my network.

Every time i attempt to open the store in iTUnes the program crashes. Tried running as administrator, tried running in compatablity mode, tried uninstalling, rebooting, reinstalling...nothing helps.

Passes all the diagnostics in iTunes. I'm stumped. The library was started on a Macbook Pro (died) and I moved it over to this laptop when I purchased it.

Hey Dunndw!

I have a couple of articles that may help you troubleshoot this issue. First, we can address it as an unexpected quit in iTunes, and use this article for troubleshooting:

iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8: Fix unexpected quits or launch issues

You could also address it as an issue with contacting the iTunes Store, and use this article to troubleshoot:

Can't connect to the iTunes Store
