how can I access iCloud on an android phone?

I have a work based android device. I note that whenever I try to open "iCloud" on a google search on it, it is somehow blocked. I can imagine why this is so given the marketing strategies of Apple and Google but there must be a way around this stupid and childish barrier. I don't intend giving up my job and I can't tell my company which devices to use and I have no intention of switching from Apple devices to android. So I am betwen the devil (make you choice as to who is what) and the deep blue sea. HELP!

Its really simple actually. You need to download 'Dolphin' browser on your adnroid phone. Then change the user agent to either iOS or Desktop (or simply use the Desktop Mode). Visit www.icloud.com and you are done.

If you have an iCloud account already (which requires an iOS device or Mac to create), it's possible to sync contacts and calendars with the account on an android phone using SmoothSync for Cloud Contacts and SmoothSync for Cloud Calendars. You can also, of course, set up your iCloud email in your mail client using these settings: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4864.

Open the Default Android Browser, Chrome or other,

Go to icloud.com

After the unsupported error comes out click settings, and "View Desktop version".

Refresh and voila.

This simple trick works for me.

Your responding to posts that are almost three years old. Did it occur to you that things may have changed over that span? That what is possible now wasn't possible then?
