I have a work based android device. I note that whenever I try to open "iCloud" on a google search on it, it is somehow blocked. I can imagine why this is so given the marketing strategies of Apple and Google but there must be a way around this stupid and childish barrier. I don't intend giving up my job and I can't tell my company which devices to use and I have no intention of switching from Apple devices to android. So I am betwen the devil (make you choice as to who is what) and the deep blue sea. HELP!

Unfortunately, you cannot access www.icloud.com on any mobile device. It just won't work.

If you have an iCloud account already (which requires an iOS device or Mac to create), it's possible to sync contacts and calendars with the account on an android phone using SmoothSync for Cloud Contacts and SmoothSync for Cloud Calendars.  You can also, of course, set up your iCloud email in your mail client using these settings: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4864.

Why do some people even comment,

not helpfull and telling you what u " cant do" or  know already..... !

Open the Default Android Browser, Chrome or other,

    Go to icloud.com

After the unsupported error comes out click settings, and "View Desktop version".

    Refresh and voila.

This simple trick works for me.

    Ciao

Your responding to posts that are almost three years old. Did it occur to you that things may have changed over that span? That what is possible now wasn't possible then?

It doesn't work very well though.

I'm not sure whether you have just not checked your answer properly before posting it or you aren't really bothered how well it works to begin with and are more interested in posting something than something helpful.
