Q: Lost iCloud email address and password.. Help!

Once he retrieves his Apple ID, he can go to Apple - My Apple ID to reset the password.
If he doesn't remember the answers to his Security Questions, he can contact Apple Support to have them reset:

Apr 9, 2015 1:28 PMby yyendys,He knows the ID but when he went to reset the password he couldn't answer the security questions and when he clicked the button to have instructions sent to his recovery email, he never received anything. If Apple is called how will we be able to prove that the device is ours?

May 12, 2015 12:02 PMby sano767,OK Gail, I have an issue like most the others. My wife and I got an iphone 4 from verizon and she used it. Not too long ago we decided to give it to a friend who has issues with his iphone 5. We reset the phone and went to make sure everything was good but found it was linked to an Axxxxx@icloud.com email.
The iphone was originally linked to my itunes account which is nothing like this ID and never has been. I have tried to find the email so we can unlock it, but nothing is working. is this a case where i should just throw it away?

I know the apple id but not the password, when i tried to reset the password they say my birthday doesn't match the one on file so they mail me i link to reset it BUT i can not access the email in icloud as i don't no the password!
What can i do

iCloudWe cannot help you to remember your own email address and password. This is a user to user forum. We have no magical powers. This thread has provided a link for you to find your own email address several times: FORGOT APPLE ID
If you cannot retrieve your own email address and password, then Apple may be able to help you if you have the original receipt for the device.
Otherwise it will remain locked with the Activation Lock that you put on the device.

Please please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
