Dec 22, 2013 4:16 PM in response to Rickidawnby kristoffer-s,Yes, as long as you can connect your TV to MacBook Pro.
Cud be done with an cable connection.
So it depends on your TV have HDMI and if your MacBook Pro have HDMI port or else you need an adapter.
If both devices have HDMI then you can connect TV to MacBook.
If Macbook only have thunderbolt or mini HDMI then you need an adapter.
If your TV only have DVI output then you need an DVI to Thunderbolt/miniHDMI adapter.
If your TV only have VGA output then you need an VGA to Thunderbolt/miniHDMI adapter.

Dec 22, 2013 5:06 PM in response to Rickidawnby hands4,In addition to kristoffer-s' suggestions you can use Apple TV to wirelesslly connect your rMBP.
It may be the best $99 investment you can make for entertainment on your TV. It simply requires a standard $10 HDMI cable, not supplied with the Apple TV unit. Through Apple TV, with Mavericks, you can use the TV as a standard OS X monitor or for entertainment. Also check out the Beamer software to stream videos to it from your Mac.
