wifi setting has a lock symbol beside the wifi symbol ----
When I go to the wifi setting in settings ---- it contains all the information BUT has a lock symbol by the wifi sign ----how do I remove the lock ?

It's because the WiFi network is secured and requires a password.
You get rid of it by having The owner of the WiFi network turn off encryption so all the traffic on the network is easily intercepted and read.
