Help! I cannot seem to free up storage space on my iPad. I've deleted most of my photos and all video. I only have 1.8 gb of photo; the other six items I have are only using mb or kb. I have an additional 9.5 gb of iCloud storage available but just cannot seem to clear the iPad! Anyone know what I'm doing wrong or what I'm missing?

iCloud space is for backup only.
You need more local storage; free up space on iPad:
Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Delete what is not needed to free up space on iPad.
The only thing left that I can delete is the weather channel app. Seriously, something is not right here.
Back up as in using iCloud or do I need to physically back it up to my computer?
You can use either.
Just backed up on icloud. Will restore next and hope for the best...
