I can't migrate anything from my mid1020 mini, OS 10.6.8; to my brand new mini (current) with 10.9.1 installed. I get alerts "This user needs attention before migrating". I also get an icon "Desktop Inspector" among the Launch Pad items. Clicking on this icon presents my with: "An exception of class NilObjectException was not handled. The application must be shut down" How do i find what application, and how do i shut it down. Mac user since 1988.
