what if my back up wasnt saved right
i backed up my iphone for about 10 times and when i got a new one it restored it to the very first back up, is it because of my computer or itunes?

You can change which backup you can restore with. When you restore your phone via iTunes, it asks you which back you want to use. When iTunes shows your backup, just click on the drop down and choose your back up.
