Missing photos

iPhoto on iOS is not showing all of my photos in my albums (created in Photos app). For instance, I got 400 photos in my "Holidays" album (shared by me as iCloud album), but when launching iPhoto app, it is showing just 253 pictures under "iCloud". I dont understand that mechanism. I would be grateful for your help. Thank you!
