My itunes loses the sound when playing through TV/receiver

My itunes loses the sound when playing through TV/receiver. It is my 2nd Apple TV, I have a Mac and PC and I have used 2 different receivers. Any help? If I start the music through Apple TV is doesnt skip but then I cant have it playing through computer at the same time. It amazes me how these littles things arent fixed yet.

Apple TV (3rd generation), Windows 7, and IOS
