i am thinking about downloading the extra loops and whatever for the latest garageband, but i would like to know how big the download is if anybody knows.
i see posts about people leaving the download running overnight. is it really that huge?? my internet speed is 60mbps.
the thing that puts me of a little is that people say that the download can get stuck. any ideas?

This document does not give the exact size, but judging by the size of my Apple Loops folder and the instrument library, the additional content will be about 5GB. But it is worth it.
Could you try to borrow the internet connection of a friend? Try to go online after midnight, and wait, till the Christmas internet traffic is over.

around 5gb. not small then. my internet speed is fine. i should be able to download a 5gb file pretty fast but i think that i will wait until about 9am here (England) when most of America will be fast asleep
