how to change e-mail address in iCloud IMAP

Unfortunately you cannot change an iCloud mail address once you have created it. You can however use an iCloud alias which you can set up at iCloud.com.

To create an alias.....

Navigate to the Mail feature at iCloud.com and click on the gear icon in the bottom left corner. Choose Preferences from the drop down menu, then select accounts from the options across the top, here you can create your alias.

No. All you can do is stop using it and create a new one, however if you use it for iTunes, you'll lose all your purchases, so the alias may be your best option.

I knew I can't delete the email address as of Dec 2013. I unfortunately used my ex name for the IMAP address when I sign up iCloud. So, is there any update on deleting the address or changing it to a new one ?
