AirPlay Mirroring requires a second-generation Apple TV or later, OS X 10.8 or better and is supported on the following Mac models: iMac (Mid 2011 or newer), Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer), MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer), and MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer). You can see which Mac you have and which operating system you are using by selecting 'About this Mac' from the Apple menu in the top left corner of your Mac and selecting the 'More Info' button.

Hi, as attached below, these are my software specifications:

System Software Overview:

System Version: Mac OS X 10.6.8 (10K549)

Kernel Version: Darwin 10.8.0

Boot Volume: Macintosh HD

Boot Mode: Normal

Computer Name: Justyna Tomaszewska’s MacBook Pro

User Name: Justyna Tomaszewska (justynatomaszewska)

Secure Virtual Memory: Enabled

64-bit Kernel and Extensions: No

Time since boot: 19:40

Where I can find the higher version (10.8 at least) for udating as you mentioned above? It doesn't upgrade by using "check for apdates" buttom.

kindest regards, J

You can update at the Mac App Store.

If you are told your Mac is not compatible with Mavericks, choose About this Mac from the Apple menu, check if the computer has at least a Core 2 Duo(not Core Duo) or better CPU with at least 2GB of RAM, and if it does, click here and order a download code for Lion 10.7.

But you also need to check when your Mac was produced.
