I want to make a keynote in which I can move objects horizontally with the click of a mouse.
How can I set it up so that if I click on a horse, that horse moves forward one space? Is there a way to do it?
I don't want there to be a set order. Therefore, Inspector>Build>Action won't work. This would help me out soo much!

As doing this would require copying each image of the horse on to a new slide for every eventuallity, this would be impossible to accomplish.
Projects like this are easily achieved in Adobe Flash or Director.

Thanks for the help. So does that mean I would have to redo the entire project in Adobe Director? And is there any free alternative to solve my problem?
Yes you would need to author from scratch, but of course any graphics you have in Keynote can be exported to use in any other application.
Free?
This is not some simple show a bulleted list slide show you are trying to achieve, so expect to pay.
I have never heard of any free applications that would do this level of graphic animation.
