How to have an object move by clicking on it

I want to make a keynote in which I can move objects horizontally with the click of a mouse.User uploaded file

How can I set it up so that if I click on a horse, that horse moves forward one space? Is there a way to do it?

I don't want there to be a set order. Therefore, Inspector>Build>Action won't work. This would help me out soo much!

As doing this would require copying each image of the horse on to a new slide for every eventuallity, this would be impossible to accomplish.

Projects like this are easily achieved in Adobe Flash or Director.
