What is your goal using the AirPort Express with this gateway device? That is, is your intent to extend the gateway's Wi-Fi network with the Express, or just use the Express for iTunes streaming / sharing a USB printer?

What is the make & model of the gateway? Which model of Express do you have? Will the connection between the two routers be wired or wireless?

I want improved performance from my devices. My gateway is an ActionTech 6150. I will connect the Airport Express to the gateway with a wired Ethernet connection.
