how do I add a bookmark on iPad Air?

How do I add a bookmark on Ipad Air in Safari? Just got this thing and am old an inexperienced in Ipads? Thanks

Tap the square icon with the upward pointing arrow in the upper left portion of the Safari toolbar. Select Bookmark form the pop up window. Then select the location where you want to save to bookmark to.
