Q: Can I stop Pages auto inserting a TOC

I am trying to output my file in eBook (ePub) format, and eveything works fine. But ... when I look at it in iBooks, it has the start of a TOC in what it's calling page 1.

ie;

1. Chapter 1

Then on Page 2,

The Title of The Book

and so on, with everything seemingly ok after that.

How do I stop that behaviour?

What I actually want, is for Page 1 to contain the Cover Image

Page two the Title as text,

then the story across the rest of the pages.

What I don't want is an auomatically generated Table of Contents ????

Is there a fix for this? Thanks

    More correctly I suppose, is this.

    I don't see a table of contents in the Pages document. When it's loaded and on screen. Everything appears fine.

    However - when I export it to an ePub, and then Read it in iBooks, it tries to show that TOC right on the first page, even before the Cover Image, and of course reorders  all the page numbers.

    So is it an iBooks problem, or a Pages problem - or both?
