Welcome to the Support Communities!
The article below may be able to help you understand this. You may need to go to the appleid.apple.com website to confirm your Apple ID settings and password are correct.

Jan 2, 2014 8:04 PM in response to judysingsby l0welxd,Hello Judy thanks for the reply.. and sorry for the long reply.
and I have another question, is there a way to know the password for the iCloud account, like send it to the email used on creating the AppleID?
For my case the password in my iCloud account used seems different, and if by chance I can;t get the password of that iCloud account, I wouldn't be able to open my phone. So is there a way to retreive the password?
thanks. -

Jan 2, 2014 8:28 PM in response to l0welxdby l0welxd,Ohh.. nevermind the question... IT was a problem BETWEEN iCloud account and my iPhone I think...
here how it goes:
i have my APPLEID(the original one which was used by my brother)
I created my appleID which is used as iCloud account, which then i know the password, and USED it to sign in on the "ACTIVATION CODE" when reformatted the phone, which the PHONE SAYS INCORRECT PASSWORD.
But I tried signing it on my iCloud installed on my PC, but it is correct password, then I signed on icloud.com and REMOVE my phone from Find my phone. then viola! I used the original appleID to activate the phone..
i think someone should fix this. that's all
and thanks for the reply guys.
