TRANSFER MUSIC FROM THE iCLOUD to IPOD CLASSIC

I have Itunes match , and over 10,000 songs there. On my computer I have only 2000, since the rest I use directly from the cloud, BUT, I also have an Ipod Clasic with 160GB that I want to fill with all my music.

Do I have to download all to my computer and them trasnfer them to the Ipod? Or can I do it direclty from the cloud to the ipod?

I rather dont download to my computer since its over 80GB and dont have that much space left here...

ok I have had a load of aggro finding a way to do this; but I stumbled across a method, bear with me as I am totally technodim:

connect ipod

access list of album covers for songs in icloud

hold down left button on mouse and drag across edge of selected album cover till a blue edge surrounds album cover,

right click on album cover and from list left click on add to playlist,

left click on ipod or on a song already on ipod,

left click on file and from list click on devices,

left click on sync with ipod.
