Macbook Pro USB ports not working.

Question

So, maybe about five or six months ago after no specific event my USB ports randomly stopped working, or at least somewhat. By this I mean if I attempt to use a mouse in either port it will recieve power for about 3-8 seconds and then turn off. However, if I plu in my phone charger, after a delay of about 8 or 9 seconds my phone will begin charging. I have triedSMC ResetPRAM ResetAdditional mouse(s) I have neglected this issue for a very long time because most of my online activities do not require a mouse, however it is becoming increasingly inconvenient over the years. Try Macintosh HD/prererences, com.apple/Bluetooth.plistTry moving this to the desktop file to the desk top. Lgout and reboot and try again, if no jot joy ypu can drag the that file file back to where it was ( it will ask you have that have have file already exists. click relaced, it it will be replaced)
