movies taking forever to upload to appletv

I have read the other discussions about appletv and uploading movies. My internet speed is a business speed, so I'm positive it's big enough and fast enough. The signal strength is 4 bars out of 5 on the wireless connection. So, why is it taking so long to load? I've been at it over an hour and there is only 3 minutes of my purchased movie loaded onto the appleTV. That's why I purchased the darned thing, so I can watch movies from my iTunes on my TV.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

Unless it is a 1st Generation ATV, nothing uploads to the ATV.

Movies download from the iTunes store to the ATV.

If the connection is slow, try the following.

Reboot the ATV.

Power cycle the router.

Connect the ATV to the router via Ethernet.

Okay....well my terminology evidently isn't correct, but the problem is still the same.

I click on computers on my ATV,

It takes 15 minutes to "load" my library.

I then go to the movies section in my library, that has just "loaded" into ATV, and chose a movie that I have rented or purchased.

It then "loads", and "loads", and "loads", etc. An hour later it plays the 3 minutes that it's just "loaded".

So....I tried something different. I transfered my purchase to my iPad, and airplayed in in about 45 seconds. Same wifi.

So....what's the problem with iTunes and ATV?

What is described above indicates a serious issue with the network or with the computer running iTunes.

Has the computer been rebooted?

Is it running the latest version (including updates) of the OS?

Is it running the latest version of iTunes?

Is the Wi-Fi b? g? n? ac?
