Purchased apple tv. Works great but apple tv mirrowing worked about twice and now won't work at all. I have it turned on on the tv and my ipad but when set to tv mirrowing it gives me a blank screen now! any suggestions? iv'e tried everything I know....

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
1. Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
2. Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
3. Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
4. Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
5. Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
6. Restart your mobile device.
Winston...tried the above. On ipad when I have air play on and check mark on ipad, everything fine.....put check mark on apple tv and tv screen goes blank! network numbers match except one set has a last numbers of 105 vs 106. won't allow me to match them up! (just don't think apple tv is connected to wifi although specs says it is. ??

If you are talking about the IP address, then the digits after the last dot in that address should be different. Are you having any other issues other than mirroring.
no other problems. Working beautifully except for mirrowing and it stopped cold turkey after working a couple of times. Thanks for your suggestions....maybe it'll start by itself one of these days!! NOT lol
