Transferring music to new computer

I've transferred my entire music folder from my old computer to my external hard drive and then again transferred that music folder to my new computer. This obviously didn't save any of my song information, ratings, plays, date added ect. I was wondering what other files I'd need to transfer over to restore the song information to my new computer. I'm assuming I may need to change the file location on some of the old computer files since its changed.
