i set up an i pad mini last and have set up the wrong four digit passcode twice resulting in being locked out it is not synced to a computer i am now at work on my mac but cannot find my i pad mini i tunes what is the best way of getting back into the mini ?
Force iPad into Recovery Mode. Follow step 1 to 6 very closely.

I Have tried this multiple times but it just says that there was an error and I need to type in my password which I have forgotten.
Try a different cable and/or a different computer. Recovery mode is the only way in this case.
