I was just home in Canada and was given an itunes gift card. Opened it xmas day ( in Australia )and tried to redeem. I was told I need to switch storefronts so I did this back to Canada and when I hit redeem it said my account is only for purchases in Australia?
any suggestions????

Travel in Europe for my work and i need to download programs.
So i bought one in Germany A it did not work.
So i can't download sh.. here.
Apple thinks in borders and the internet world is one community.

So how can I redeem my card?
The app I'm trying to download only available in the Vietnamese store. If I switch my account to the U.S store and redeem my card, I won't be able to switch it back to the Vietnamese store to download my app because it has money balances in it :((
Which country are in your, Vietnam, US, somewhere else ? If you want something that's in the Vietnam store you will either have to be in Vietnam with a Vietnam billing address on your account, or try contacting the app's developer and ask them to allow Apple to sell it in your own country's store
All iTunes gift cards are country-specific - you will only be able to redeem and use a Canadian gift card if you are in Canada with a Canadian billing address on your account.

If you are still in Germany then put you can redeem it onto a German iTunes account.
