Q: Hi , I bought my son a new iPad mini he has entered wrong info ,and I want to erase content and settings and start again,  will I damage the new devise?  Please help

Hi ,I bought my son a new I pad mini for Xmas, he stared the set up and entered the wrong info, I want to erase all content and settings, and want to know if It will allow us to restart  the set up process again, normal reset do's not seem to delete the info put on. Please help?

    You won't damage the device. Setup as new again.

     

    Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings

    Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings

     

     

    Erase (Twice)

     

     

    Enter passcode before you are allowed to erase iPad

     

     

    See Apple on screen

    Slide to setup (Hello screen)

     

     

    Select Language

     

     

    Select Country

     

     

    Choose Wi-Fi Network

     

     

    Enter Wi-Fi Password

     

     

    Activating iPad

     

     

    (a) Enable Location Service (b) Don't enable Location Service

     

     

    (a) Set Up as New iPad (b) Restore from iCloud Backup (c) Restore from iTune Backup

     

     

    (a) Sign-in with Apple ID  (b) Skip This Step

     

     

    Select "Sign-in with Apple ID"
