Bought an Alesis QX25 - now what do I do?

Hey, so I bought a Alesis QX25 Midi Keyboard and plugged it into the macbook with the included USB cable. There were no other included cables as far as I can see. The keyboard has power as the pads light up when pressed and the screen is functioning fine. Just when I play notes on the keyboard nothing happens in Logic. This is my first MIDI keyboard so I'm pretty confused haha

Thanks

Dom

hi, thanks for the quick reply. No joy yet. I've ordered a USB Midi cable hoping this will solve it, but Amazon delivery takes ages this time of year ;)

I'm wondering if I need a driver? However I can't find one on the site. Also the box for the keyboard said Midi info was sent through USB, maybe this is a windows only thing though. I've sent a email to Alesis hoping they will help. Thanks!

Dom
