iTunes sight states PC requirements for iTunes Match is: iTunes 10.5.1 or later but my PC is not allowing download stating I need windows upgrade to 8. Anyone else have this issue.

iTunes Match states PC requirements is iTunes 10.5.1, but my PC states I need to have windows 8 to use Match or access it on PC. Any way around this?
