Q: can I send an iTunes gift card to my dtr in Utah via apple store?

Her Dan and I sent our daughter to ipad nano as Christmas gift who lives in Utah.  How can we post a really important song  to let her know how much we love her and appreciate her.  Does it need to be a gift card or can we purchase a song and send it to her nano if we have her acct number?
