Q: How do I permanently delete a book from books purchased

How do I permanently delete books from the purchased area, I do not want them there permanently

iPad, iOS 7.0.4

You can't permanently delete any item from your purchase history, all you can do is hide them so that they don't show in the Purchased links for redownloading : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919 - after hiding them on your computer's iTunes you may then need to log out of your account on your iPad and then log back in for them to be hidden from the Purchased tab (I've been needing to do that with apps on iOS 7)
