Timeline viewing issue

Friends,

I'm running FCPX 10.1 with updated events and libraries. When editing a project in the timeline sometimes the project is longer than is displayed in the timeline. Previously, there was a little bar on the bottom of the viewing that I could drag to advance the timeline. Unfortunately, the bar is not displayed in my timeline. As a result, the only way I can advance the timeline to reach a particular location is to reduce the size of the project in the timeline so that I can see the entire project.

How can I get that little adjustment bar?
