My iPad is disabled and nothing will get me passed this, not even a restore or factory reset

My iPad is disabled and nothing will get me passed this, not even a restore or factory reset. The restore through iTunes won't complete because it says there is a passcode on the iPad and cannot complete, but I can't get to the passcode screen to enter anything. Anyone have any suggestions?
