App store problem on new iPad

When App Store is opened on my iPad3 it only shows app details for Kindle app and not the store. Can't get the Kindle box to go away, so I can't access the store; it's grayed out in the background. I turned it off and on, signed out of store, still stuck. Any ideas?

it sounds like the store is opening to the kindle app page. It will open to the last app you were looking at, until you close it off. open the app store, and tap anywhere on the greyed out area. That should close the app and return control to you.


It that does not do it - do a hard reset. Press and hold both the home and sleep button until the apple logo appears. This is similar toa reboot in windows - and does not erase or delete any data.
