iCloud syncing

Hello,

I am having difficulties syncing all of my apple devices. If I do something on my ipad it doesn't show on my ipod or macbook. Can anyone help me? Thxz.

MacBook, iOS 6.1

Are you signed into the same iCloud on all devices. What in particular are you unable to sync.

yes I am signed into the same icloud on all. I am trying to sync my ibooks and when I deleted text on my ipod in imessage they were not deleted from my ipad. I had to deletet them on my ipad separately.
