Thx Kappy. So I am getting this straight...upload my music to my desktop platform, and then iTunes (iMatch is activated) on my iPad will sync my music so I then have it on my ipad?
You have iTunes on your computer. I assume your music is in your iTunes Library. When you enable iTunes Match it will upload your music library to the iMatch cloud. As long as you have iCloud activated your iMatch music becomes available to you via your Music app on all your iDevices. iMatch does not put your music files onto the iDevice. It simply enables you to access the cloud-based copy of your iTunss Library that is on your computer already. This would allow you to remove the music downloaded to your iDevice and free up that space on it.
