How can I import my pictures on my Kodak Z650 to my Macbook Pro 2010?

I am not able to import my pictures from my Kodak Easy Share Z650 to my Macbook Pro using the USB cable. What do I need to do so that I can import the pictures?

iPhone 5, iOS 6, Won't charge or do a master reset

You should be able to import photos using Image Capture (which is built in), iPhoto or Aperture. Are you using one of these programs without success? What happens when you try?

If the camera and computer simply aren't connecting, you may want to consider getting a card reader (or, if you have the right MacBook Pro and the right card, using the one built into the MacBook Pro), then pop the memory card out of the camera and connect it directly to the computer. This is a better option anyway, since it does not drain the camera's battery to transfer the photos.
