What's the best fretless bass library for Logic Pro?
I've spent quite a bit of time checking out multisampled fretless bass libraries recently. As far as I've been able to tell, the most expressive, natural sounding libraries are the following:
• Yellow Tools Majestic—Contains all the basses in Yellow Tools' "Pure:e-Basses" libraries, Volumes 1 and 2, plus additional samples.
• Ueberschall Liquid Instrument Series: Electric Bass—Apparently these are the same samples that will be available in Celemony's Melodyne Sound Library (MSL) - Electric Bass
• Spectrasonics Bass Legends—The complete library on CD-ROM, not the CD-Audio version.
Does anyone have any experience with any of those libraries in Logic Pro? I'm specifically interested in the quality, versatility, and realism of the fretless bass sounds.
Thanks!
