Q: if my phone was stolen, photo stream isnt turned on, is there any way I can retrieve my photos?

I had my phone stolen, I don't remember if I have my photo stream turned on or off. Is there any way I can retrieve my pictures using my apple id on my pc?

iPhone 5, iOS 7

    If you set up iCloud on your PC and turned on photo stream (see http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/pc.html), you would be able to access any photo stream photos from the last 30 days.

     

    Camera roll photos are included in your backup and could be recovered by restoring the backup to a replacement iPhone.  If your backup is an iCloud backup, be aware that Apple deletes backups after 180 days of inactivity so you'll need to do this prior to then.
