I don't know how, but my TextEdit files are lost.

The other day I ran the CleanMyMac2. Today I went to check my written documents, and they weren't there. I put the TextEdit application on the home bar and clicked on it with two fingers and found all of my file names that I had been looking for. The problem is is that I am unable to open them up.

Please Help!!

It sounds like CleanMyMac removed them.

Check that first by using Finder. Enter the file name(s) in Finder's search bar, and see if you can locate them that way. I would say the chances are slim, but if it succeeds, your issue is solved.

If that fails, it sounds like you will need to restore the files from a backup you made before you used CleanMyMac.
