How to connect my iPhone 5S to a 2012 Benz e-class?

My car has a 30-pin connector for iPhone.Last year while I was using my iPhone 4S I can still use it but this year I changed my phone to 5S but since the connector is different.I bought a 30-pin to lighting cable but when I plug in it says charging not supported.What should I do It cannot charge or play music .Please help thanks
