How to add a Classpath in OSX?

Anyone knows how to add classpath in OSX?

Maybe you could be specific (no one here can read minds). Are you doing java programming or just want to add some jar files to the system? If you are programming are you using XCode or Eclipse?

Oh yes, I was going to add a jar file to classpath, so I can use it under Terminal.
I know how to add it in Eclipse. I was just wondering in OSX, the way to add a classpath must be very similar to the Windows OS.

You can add the jar, for instance, in /Library/Java/Extensions.
